SECCEN case study
UKPGL Selects SECCEN as its Intelligence Reporting Platform
As part of its new Technology Enabled Framework, UK Professional Guarding Limited (UKPGL) has selected the SECCEN Intelligence Platform as its chosen solution for intelligence reporting, threat awareness and security risk insight.
The adoption forms part of UKPGL’s wider strategy to strengthen the use of technology and intelligence across its security operations, providing both operational teams and customers with access to structured, evidence-led security intelligence.
With the implementation of Martyn’s Law – the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 bringing an increased focus on preparedness, protective security and proportionate measures, UKPGL is taking a proactive approach to supporting its customers ahead of the developing regulatory landscape.
Through SECCEN, UKPGL will be able to provide enhanced intelligence capabilities including:
Area-specific intelligence, threat and risk reporting
Crime data and trend analysis
Terrorism and national threat monitoring
Protest, activism and emerging threat awareness
Organisation and location-specific risk intelligence
IED cordon planning and protective security guidance
Structured intelligence reporting to support operational decision-making
Importantly, SECCEN will not simply operate as an internal management tool. UKPGL intends to integrate the platform into its customer offering, enabling intelligence reporting and security risk information to form part of the added value provided alongside its physical security services.
The partnership demonstrates UKPGL’s move towards a more intelligence-led and technology-enabled security model, combining professional security personnel with timely information, analysis and digital capability.
For SECCEN, the adoption demonstrates how the platform can be embedded within a security provider’s operating model — helping organisations move beyond traditional guarding and towards a more informed, preventative and intelligence-led approach to protective security.
Physical security supported by intelligence. Better information. Better decisions. Better preparedness.
